After race at
Punchestown Wed, 30th May, 2012 (1st)
Firstly I'd like to compliment the ground-staff here. We don't live too far away and in our place you wouldn't trot a horse, the ground is rock hard. He appears to be a better chaser than hurdler although you have to mix-it with him to keep him focused. The favourite (Loosen My Load) probably ran below par but they went a fair gallop and I wondered if he'd tire in the last few furlongs, but he kept on very well.

After race at
Gowran Park Fri, 28th Jan, 2011 (1st)
He's a game horse and had to be to carry top weight on that ground. He stuck at it well,. He probably needs a bit further and I'd say he'll step up in trip next time.

After race at
Naas Sun, 7th Mar, 2010 (1st)
He picked up well from the last to the line,. Probably two miles was always going to be a bit short for him but he showed a nice turn of foot and put it beyond doubt quickly, which I liked. We could find nothing wrong at Leopardstown last time but he emptied very quickly and that's not usual for him. Saying that it was a better class of race. The ground in the straight today was goodish and that suited him. We'll go to Fairyhouse for a two-and-a-half mile novice now. He could run at Punchestown as well and I'd say he'll do another year of hurdling next season.
