He went all wrong last year. It was something very small with his bloods and my vet fixed it. He's had a nice break and I was going to bring him back over hurdles but he schooled so well recently that I decided to come here. Hopefully we'll have a clear run this season, and Punchestown may come into the equation. I've always held him in high regard but he's a very bad traveller and pulled a shoe off coming here today.

I thought he was a horse who wanted good ground but he's after winning twice on soft now. He came back from Ballinrobe the last day with ringworm and I just thought he ran a bit flat there.

I'd like to thank the Turf Club for giving me my licence back. I was restricted to four horses until last Friday week. Hopefully it's onwards and upwards from here. Tom Quinn (the winning owner) is great to train for as he leaves me alone to do the horses. I have twenty eight in training and hopefully I can get back to where I was. We put in a new gallop and this fella is a lovely horse. My heart will be in my mouth when he goes chasing though as he has plenty of speed.
