Dylan gave him a lovely ride from the draw. He's a consistent horse and has progressed with his runs. It worked out well for him today. He travelled into the straight and there was a good gallop on in front of him.

He’s straightforward and you can let him bowl along. It was nice to find an opportunity like this and these races are good for horses that are not quite up to black-type level. A mile and a half was a bit too far the last day and I’d say a mile and a quarter is his ideal trip. He’s kept busy leading Portage at home and he does a good job of that.
