He stays all day. I was a little disappointed with him at Cheltenham but he came out of it fine so we took our chance,. We thought all year that this was the race for him. He stays and keeps going and he doesn't mind that ground. Someone above was helping us out. Dad always loved this race and to do it for him is wonderful. Katie was brilliant on him. I have to give a big thanks to Michael and Eddie O'Leary for letting me have the horse and train him for it.

That's good, he deserves that. He had some very good runs without winning, and is an out-and-out stayer. He has the option of the four-miler at Cheltenham but we may train him for the Irish National. He's probably an Irish National horse and I think Gigginstown have another one for the four-miler. He may run in something in between. He jumped well today and is much better over fences than he was over hurdles. He doesn't mind heavy ground.

It was way overdue to win his maiden hurdle. He's really a chaser but we'll look for a three mile conditions hurdle for him next. Hopefully he'll win a three mile hurdle before he goes over fences.
