After race at Punchestown Sat, 23rd Nov, 2024 (1st)  It was a competitive race and probably neither horse wanted to be in front. They are big, three-mile staying-chasers and idle in front. Sam’s lad wasn’t doing much in front and then when Jack got in front he wasn’t doing much either. At one stage they were only going 23 or 24mph. It was an exciting finish and all credit has to go to Michael O’Leary for running all three runners in the race. Search For Glory had a run and Stellar Story hadn’t. I’d say if Jack had another go he’d probably sit behind Sam and have one go at him. In fairness, both horses had a good school around. I’d imagine Stellar Story will run over three miles at Christmas and Search For Glory will probably be going for similar races. Gordon Elliott

After race at Cheltenham Fri, 15th Mar, 2024 (1st)  To be honest we thought he was overpriced, we knew he’d love the ground and he’s as tough as old nails. He stayed very well and Sam was good and positive. We were probably a little bit fortunate that the second horse missed the last as we’ve collared him on the line, but it was brilliant. I knew he was getting there, I just didn’t think he was getting there in time. To tell you the honest truth, I wasn’t going to run him. I was going to run Croke Park in the race and he was lame on Wednesday morning, so I brought this horse over late. I was going to send him to Aintree for a three-mile hurdle, so it shows what I know. He was bought to be a big chaser, that’s what he is. He’s a lovely horse. Sam is a big part of the team and I’m delighted for him. Gordon Elliott

After race at Navan Sat, 18th Nov, 2023 (1st)  He's a nice horse. Jack said he'd come on from it too as he had a bit of a blow. I was a bit worried in the back straight when the other horse was going with us, but he said he'd come on plenty from it and we're delighted. He was bought to be a big staying chaser. Gordon Elliott

After race at Fairyhouse Sun, 1st Jan, 2023 (1st)  he’s a fine big jumping horse going forward and winning a bumper is only a bonus. The ground was probably quick enough for him here the last day but the form of that race is working out. Gordon Elliott
