After race at Sligo Wed, 3rd Aug, 2016 (1st)  We didn't know if she would handle ground that deep but she went through it well. I knew three furlongs out I had it won, she travelled extremely well. She's a filly I like going forward and I think there is more improvement to come. It's been a little frustrating this evening. The ground has been troublesome, it's very deep and not every horse handles it. She got through it very well. She's a home-bred and is a half-sister to the nice juvenile, Right Honourable, who won at Galway. That's two winners in two weeks for the mare and please god this filly can go on and get black-type. After race at Naas Wed, 22nd Jun, 2016 (1st)  I’ve been very fortunate to have had some great riders over the years like Wally Swinburn, Johnny Roe, Michael Kinane and Pat Smullen, and Brendan Sheridan in National Hunt. My first day with a licence at Baldoyle in 1972 I had a double with Spanner and I rode Chevy Chase in the bumper. I've had a wonderful team of staff through the years, and a lot of hard work has gone in over that time. For many years there was only racing three days a week on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and sometimes only two days a week. They were six race cards, and I was lucky enough to have five winners on a day a number of times. It's nice to do it with a home bred filly of my late mothers. We will look for some black type later in the year with her. D K Weld
