They went hard and it kind of suited him. He settled behind Donnacha, kicked off the bend and he was never going to stop,. He loves it here. He won his maiden here and has been just touched off here a few times. I think it kind of suits him coming round the bend. That's brilliant to get. His owners Jon and Sarah Kelly are coming over for Champions Weekend so I better find something for him. I have him entered there (Boomerang Stakes). He's a miler and the reason I haven't run him all summer is because of the firm ground. He's a very big horse and probably would be alright on it now but I'd rather keep him right. He's in Killarney next week but I'll give Marshall Jennings a chance there.

He couldn't run when I wanted him to in the Cambridgeshire because he came out in spots. I took him out on Irish Champions Weekend as I thought the heavy ground and a mile and a quarter would be too far for him. I wasn't worried about the ground today going a mile. The bit of time I’ve given him has really stood to him. He's really grown into himself. He's been ultra consistent this year, and he'll most likely be put away now and stay in training next year.

I was a bit worried about the ground but luckily we got that heavy shower and Colm said he was very comfortable today. He did hurt himself in Leopardstown and that's why he didn't run for so long. He's a very immature horse still and is only learning. Whatever he does this year he will be an even nicer four-year-old, and he might one day grow into that enormous frame.
