It was far from the plan to be in front. Nobody wanted to make it though, and Rachael knew Willie's had good toe, so she had no option really. Rachael doesn't make too many mistakes and seems to make the right decision the whole time! She is brilliant, and I have to give her every bit of credit. The mare jumps really well for her. Paul was unlucky on her the last day. He was beaten in a photo finish, so that was good compensation. I put her into this race last Thursday (before Sligo). It's not often I make the right decision! . I think she might have a little break to freshen her up. Hopefully the ground will stay good. She seems to appreciate nice ground.

She had a few good runs in good maidens and a couple of real good handicaps. The experience helped and Rachael is riding out of her skin in fairness. I'd say that is her trip and I'd imagine she'll get a bit further to be honest. She does hit a little flat spot through her races, but she stays on and is genuine. She is a nice one to have. She won a bumper around Galway so we might have a go at the mares handicap there and see how we get on.

She was due her turn and Liam gave her a super ride and I have to give him a lot of credit. The plan was to jump off a little further up but they went a right gallop and she battled in the straight. She hit the front a bit soon a few days and he landed her there at the right time today. Liam has ridden two on the track for me now and they have both won; Little Miss Shamrock won a hunters chase for us in Cork last Easter and he's ridden two point to pointers for me - one won and the other was second so that's not a bad old record!. I'm delighted to get the bumper out of the way as she jumps hurdles really well and I think that'll be her game. She's homebred and please God we'll breed from her down the line too.
