Willie Mullins completed a short-priced double when Morning Supreme under Ruby Walsh, added to the earlier gains for Closutton with Quinola Des Obeaux, by hacking up in the Winter Wonderland Maiden Hurdle. In truth those that took odds of 1/2 never really had an anxious moment.

I was waiting for this race for ages. It was cancelled once or twice,. I'll try and find a similar race for her. Christmas might be a bit soon as she's a bit hard on herself. We might keep her down the country. We'll look at the end of Limerick or the New Year.

I would have been here to see that fellow win too but I got held-up as my secretary was out sick and I had to do all of the entries myself. Derrymore Dawn has huge reserves of stamina and for a four-year-old to win over two miles seven on that ground was a fair performance. If we could just put a bit of speed into him he'd be alright.
