To be honest, we didn't want to make the running with that horse either. Jack said he has lost concentration at one or two, but in all he was very good. With a lead, he would be a totally different horse but we had to make it, there was nothing we could do. It wasn't ideal, but look he said he never came out of second gear. I'd be thinking of the Drinmore (over 2m4f at Fairyhouse) , we'll get him home and see how he is.

He jumped so well, I was happy to go on after jumping the second last. There are only so many times you can disappoint a horse when he is traveling that easy. He's a good horse and we've got a few nice novice chasers. Jack (Kennedy) was full of confidence after the last day. We watched the race together and he was happy that Davy let him roll on when he did. The further he goes he drops his head, gets low, and gallops. I was a bit nervous. I thought we'd win the first but we were a bit unlucky, got a bit far back. A few of our big shots yesterday didn't run and he was kind of our first real one that had to win. He's settling better now, before he was keen. I love that when he gets to the front he spits it out and from the last to the line he drops his head and gallops. The Turners is definitely where he's going and hopefully this man beside me (Kennedy) gets the okay to be back riding him. If he doesn't Davy is there but we're hoping this man is back.

He was brilliant and Jack gave him a wonderful ride. I’m delighted for Andrew and Gemma Brown, Caldwell Construction and Joey (Logan) who buys the horses for them - it's a big team effort. The staff at home are working so hard and to come here today with two winners (after Punitive was successful earlier on the card) and a Grade One is brilliant. Jack schooled him last Monday and I was happy when I saw the smile on him after he came back in. He's still very immature but he’s a good horse. He won two Grade Ones last year and we're lucky to have him. I would imagine he'll stay at this distance. We don’t need to rush him. We'll enjoy today and see what happens. The second horse is a second-season novice and was placed in the Irish National and they are clear of the rest.

it's brilliant to win the first two races - I know it's not going to be smooth sailing all week and when Willie gets going it will probably be like a steam train!. I'm very lucky with all the support I have in the yard and being honest, I thought Party Central was my best chance of the day. I was humming and hawing whether I'd run this horse (Mighty Potter) - we walked the track a couple of times and said we'd take our chance. I thought Jack gave him a beautiful ride, he held his position the whole way. The horse is a chaser for the future and we're very happy. He did the splits and was lame for a few days after Cheltenham, nothing seriously wrong with him but he just wasn't right and came home very light. That was great and he'll going chasing next year.

That was great and it's great for Jack as it's his first winner since coming back. It was a perfect result. I happy the whole way until the second last but he just got wiped out there, both horses did but they both showed guts and came back. They are two nice horses for the future. The winner is a big chaser, if you look at him, and he's not going to be a horse until next year.
