At last he's lucky. He's been the most unlucky horse all year and I was worried the season would go without a win. We'll have to see where he goes now and if we can get another one in. He needs good ground so if the winter comes in quickly he'll go on his holidays. He put his jumping right today. It's not like him to do what he did in Listowel, he just stepped at it.

.He is improving a bit, likes these up and down tracks and while he travelled into it easily, tired a bit in the end,.

I'd say he likes the track, he won here before and we thought he was lucky. He worked for it today but he was lucky to hold on, the other horse was catching him fast. I'm delighted for the owners who have had a lot of patience with him. He ran a few disappointing races for some unknown reason but it is great when he wins. I think we will go jumping with him quick enough because I'd say he will struggle in the handicap over hurdles. His owners (Express Racing Syndicate) are retired prisoner officers and they are from West Cork.
