I was afraid of the ground after yesterday. The Tough As Nails' do go with a bit of give in the ground but they don't want it exceptionally heavy and I was worried about that coming here today,. I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to handle that ground and he jumped so well, we're very happy. I don't know where we go now. That's his first run in a handicap, we might look at Punchestown but a lot of the bigger handicaps are closed. We'll find something similar for him and it's grand to get that.

the handicapper has dropped him down a few pounds and given him a chance. He’s entered at Listowel next week - he won there last year and I’d be hoping to bring him back. I was worried that the ground would be a bit on the fast side but the rain helped him.

He’s a good tough genuine horse. He ran well in Galway and finished well up the hill. The slower ground helped him today. I’m not sure where we will go with him now. We are thinking about going over hurdles but we’ll have to wait and see. He’s a nice big horse. He’s had a good few runs so we’ll have to freshen him up.

I was expecting a good run but I thought the ground might be a bit on the lively side. I was expecting more rain here but he’s a good, honest, tough horse.

He's a horse that's improving all the time,. I was happy enough with how the handicapper treated him for the last day as he's going forward the whole time and filling into himself. The Friday night in Galway was the plan but we'll just have to wait and see how the handicapper treats him now. Down the line I can see him making up into a serious three-year-old hurdler. I trained the sire and the dam and knowing that breeding, the softer the ground the better they get.

We came here throwing a dart. I was looking at the entries yesterday morning and there wasn’t too many in it, so I said we’d let him take his chance. I was hoping for rain all day as the ground was on the quick side for him. He’s a fine big genuine horse, and in time he should make a nice hurdler. It’s a great pot and I couldn’t understand why there weren’t more entered but I’m happy.

He was well in with the likes of Meryems Way and was crying out for a bit of give in the ground,. I was disappointed when I arrived that the rain hadn't come as his breed want heavyish ground. I was hoping for a good run but I don't know who got dug into him (price-wise). He'll make a lovely three year old hurdler and if somebody came with enough money he is for sale!
