She will go to Limerick next on the 13th of March (for the Dawn Run, Grade 3 Mares Novice Chase) that's the plan. Davy said he was delighted with her. In fairness she is a great jumper, that ground wouldn't be the nicest - it's loose, deep and tacky.

Donie (Sheehan the owner, 84yo) was faster than the mare to book Carberry . he had him booked nearly as soon as Davy (Russell, got a fall off Mossbank in the previous race) had hit the ground!. When you build this mare up you can nearly run her every fortnight and turn her out in between. I knew she was right coming here today and the run the last day turned her inside out. There is a race for her at Limerick on the 13th of March and that would be the aim. Ideally though I'd like to give her a run in two or three weeks time before that.

It was very tough out there today and Davy made her mind up for her,. Adrian (Maguire - Winters' brother-in-law) rode her a piece of work the other day and said she was as fit as a fiddle. She just needed to get the last day out of her system (fourth over hurdles at Leopardstown). We'll come back here in a fortnight's time for the Grade 3 Novice Chase.

The last day she ran she had just gone too light,. We gave her a pop over hurdles at Dromahane recently and she was outstanding. Before she was jumping them but measuring them. She'll go for a novice hurdle at Limerick or Fairyhouse if she's right. The break she got was the key to her.

She had to work hard. Mikey said the ground was very tacky. A win is a win,. She was probably a little bit idle through the race and I think she may be better left handed. There is a mares' winners race at Mallow in January for her. We'll take it as it comes this season. She's a great jumper of a fence and will go chasing next year.

Punchestown Wed, 28th Oct, 2009 (1st)
She was idle and it'll be the making of her - it was tough,. We'll go for a mares winners of two bumper with her now at Navan. That will probably bring her on a good bit.

that was a very good performance and hopefully she will be left off now for the summer. I'd imagine she will come back in for Listowel next September to go hurdling.
