He's very tough and tries his heart out,. I probably committed him a little bit early and he got a little bit lonely in front but when the Harrington horse came to me he found again. I thought I'd get to make the running but Kevin's horse seemed to be keen so he went on and I was happy just to take my horse to his outside and get a lead off him for a bit longer. I was always going to be forward and keep it simple. Once the runner-up came to me my horse found a little bit more, he was probably getting a little bit idle in front.

That was lovely and Wayne gave him a lovely ride,. He's a decent horse, we brought him to Ascot last week but we didn't run because the ground was quite soft over there. He loved the bit of good ground today. We'll see how he comes out of the race but we won't be in a rush with him. He didn't run at two and he's had plenty of racing this year so far. He'll step up in trip at some stage, he's an Australia, but he doesn't need to go further yet. He'll go a mile-and-a-half at some stage. He should be a better horse next year. He's still learning and when the horses came around him today he went on again.

He's a very nice horse. I was a little bit surprised that he won at a mile first time, off a slow pace,. Donnacha was very happy with him. I'd imagine we'll probably step into a Derby trial now and go from there. I was very impressed with him, the horse in front got the run of the race and there was strong word for a couple of others in the race. He's well bred, he's related to The Gurkha and obviously he's by Australia.
