it's very heavy ground today and you'd have to be delighted with that - as a start off you couldn't ask him to do any more. He's a lovely mover and you'd have to say he'd prefer good ground. He'll come back here for the Derrinstown Derby Trial next month.

You'd have to be delighted with that especially considering Joseph said he hated the ground. He'd be a possible for the race in Doncaster (the Racing Post Trophy) although he's done plenty this year and he doesn't need to run again.

He won very nicely at Gowran. I was a bit worried halfway (crossing the road, he jumped it) through the race here when the saddle went right back on him. I was afraid turning into the straight that he (Joseph) was going to come off and it was a good performance considering.

That was grand and he improved from his first run. He showed a good attitude. He handled the soft ground well. We were worried about the ground beforehand, but when you can do that on soft ground we'll be looking forward to getting some good ground for him.
