I thought he jumped particularly well. He's back going the right way round. He'll go for the two mile race in Punchestown. He seems to prefer going right-handed, but has won a Grade 1 going left-handed. The ground is a big factor too. He's a real brave chaser and we are lucky to have him.

He goes for the Champion Chase and we are thinking of doing one or two things different with him that we might may have impacted on him last year so we'll find out next week. Sometimes simple things can make a difference.

He was very, very good, and he was very brave at some of his fences. We decided to let him roll on today, although Special Tiara can go very fast. He fiddled one ditch at the bottom of the hill, but otherwise he was very good. Ruby felt there was plenty in the tank. I reckon we will go to Cheltenham again, probably for the Champion Chase, although I probably have him entered in everything.

He seems fine, it's just one of those things. It's a long way from March and hopefully he'll be ok in the morning. All being well he'll go for the Lexus.

He got a bit tired but the ground is heavy,. He settled well over the first and had a great jump. He jumped the second and third well and then piled on the pace. He missed the third last as Paul wanted an easy one and the horse kept going. Because he's so free Paul is not inclined to pull him back and fiddle one. Paul said he was idling turning for home . I was wondering was he getting tired. He's a big strong horse and we'll look forward to the Arkle back here in February.

He was very impressive. He did it very well, his jumping was fantastic. He has a tremendous cruising speed and we wouldn't be afraid to go back to two miles . that's maybe his job. He was very fast over the first four fences. There was a few front runners in it and they were all trying to make it. He has the jumping ability along with the pace. Until we see that he's not able to do it over two miles we'll go that way first. He had a year off. He just had a little problem. With horses like him you just have to give them a bit of time. We'll keep him running as much as we can and get all the experience we can with him. We'll look at Christmas now.

he was electric! He just met one wrong but for a big horse to be as agile is promising. I doubt we'll get another run into him unless we get an awful summer but we'll see what happens in the next few weeks. That will probably be it until next season though.

That was unexpected. I didn't dream that he would be able to perform llike that over this trip,. The better ground has turned him inside out. He's a different horse. That's what he has been showing me at home. I was so disappointed the first day when he ran away with Patrick. I couldn't believe he would be beat that day. Then he ran too free with Ruby. The fast pace on better ground makes him an easier ride. He'll go novice chasing next season and on that performance might make a two-miler.

At least this fellow looks like a proper bumper horse. I think he'll be better on better ground. He has just disappointed me at home and I think it was just the heavy ground after all the bad weather we've been having.

He showed there what we thought he'd do in his bumper. Ruby's objective was to go out there and get him settled and he achieved that. This is his trip (2m 4f) and he'll run again in about another three weeks.
