Review tipperary 28th Apr
Jessica Harrington received a timely boost ahead of this weekend's Guineas meeting at Newmarket as she completed a double at Tipperary, starting with Blaze Brightly in with the www.tipperaryraces.ie Race.
Harrington, who runs Pathfork in the 2000 Guineas and Laughinig Lashes in the fillies' equivalent, will be buoyed after the 10-3 chance struck the front over a furlong out under Fran Berry and recorded a three-length verdict over Fighting Brave
Berry was also on board Crystal Morning (5-2 favourite) when she got on top close home in the Join Us On Facebook Handicap, beating Frozen Frontier by a length and three-quarters.< Rose Bonheur got off the mark at the third attempt in the Racing At Tipperary Maiden - but the real drama of the race came just inside the furlong pole.< Balmont Mast had shown good speed to lead the field entering the final furlong, but he edged slightly right under Ben Curtis' drive and smashed through the rails.
That left the 1-2 favourite to come home the winner under a strong Declan McDonogh drive, with 50-1 chance Marvada second.< Boris Grigoriev showed the benefit of a recent run when getting home in front in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden, sparking a double for Aidan O'Brien.
Always to the fore under Joseph O'Brien, the 7-4 favourite stuck to his task well to beat Pinkisthecolour by a length.
Seamie Heffernan was in the plate in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden, as Wonder Of Wonders (2-7) made light work of Crystal Highness scoring by five lengths.< Parkers Mill was another to make it second time lucky when landing the Enjoy An Evening At Tipperary Races Maiden.
The -4-5 favourite was pushed into the lead by Wayne Lordan just after the home turn and stuck on gamely to fend off Cannon Hill by half a length.< Statue Of Dreams (8-1) bounced back to form when landing the Tipperary Races Supporters Club Handicap under Conor Hoban.
