< Jezki showed much of his old sparkle to make a successful comeback in the Race Displays Event Signage Hurdle at Navan.
The 2014 Champion Hurdle hero had been sidelined since April of the following year, but travelled with his customary enthusiasm over a two-mile trip that might be short of his best nowadays.
He moved effortlessly into contention to approach the last disputing the lead with Renneti and Tombstone and a slick leap carried him clear as he strode a length and three-quarters away from Renneti as the 11-8 favourite.
That completed a double for JP McManus, Jessica Harrington and Barry Geraghty, initiated when Thirsty Work backed up his Christmas win at Leopardstown in the 2017 Navan Membership Rated Novice Hurdle.
The 7-4 favourite was upsides Duke Cass at the final flight when his rival sprawled on landing, allowing Thirsty Work to coast across the line with five and a half lengths in hand of Cadeau Du Bresil < Acapella Bourgeois finally put it all together over the bigger obstacles in the Flower Hill Beginners Chase.

Beaten when fancied for his first couple of outings for Willie Mullins, the application of cheekpieces worked the oracle as the 15-8 favourite stretched four and a quarter lengths clear of Black Key
Ryan Treacy sent Yaha Fizz (4-1) into a clear lead in the early stages of the Athlumney Handicap Hurdle and he never looked like relinquishing it, coming home seven and a half lengths in front of Camlann < Swift (20-1) overcame an awkward leap at the last to land the Meath Handicap Hurdle, while All The Chimneys took the Blackcastle Handicap Chase.
