< Aupcharlie ended a frustrating sequence to land the Suir Valley Chase at Clonmel.
Henry de Bromhead's charge won on his debut over fences for Willie Mullins, but had failed to score since and suffered falls when in contention the last twice.
Sent off the 11-10 favourite, he made no mistake here, pulling clear with Miley Shah on the back straight and leaving that rival behind at the line.
Philip Byrne's Lough Roe Lady (10-1) ran out a comfortable winner of the Slievenamon Beginners Chase.
The complexion of the race changed at the second last as long-time leader Afatcat began to back-pedal and Coolaghknock Glebe ran out, leaving the strong-travelling winner to leave Rafi De Triana three and three-quarter lengths behind under Andrew McNamara.
Conor O'Dwyer's Go Darsi Go got the better of a protracted duel with favourite Sizing Coal to land the Ardfinnan Maiden Hurdle.
The 16-1 chance was always at the head of affairs alongside his main rival, but a quicker leap at the second last finally gave Ben Dalton's mount a clear advantage, and he kept on well to score by three lengths.< Desertmore Stream (11-8 favourite) finally opened his account in the Go Racing In The South East '5 For 50' Maiden Hurdle.
Philip Fenton's charge was second in his last two starts, but made eyecatching headway on the back straight under Brian O'Connell and hit the front on the home turn.< Gold Platinum was next to finish, but his jockey Andrew Leigh mistakenly omitted the second last hurdle, meaning he was disqualified and Ryansbrook was promoted to second.
Dessie Hughes supplemented his Aintree success with Guitar Pete when the Roger Loughran-ridden Swiftmarc (16-1) landed the Go Racing In The South East '5 For 50' Handicap Chase.< Tooreen (7-2 favourite) stayed on well to land the Go Racing In The South East '5 For 50' Handicap Hurdle under Philip Enright.
