Sorcha Woods registered a fourth career winner today, steering the Eddie Lynam trained Tide Of Time (10/1) to win Bellewstown's J H McLoughlin Oil Handicap.
Held up behind the leaders, the son of Choisir was produced with a nicely timed challenge to lead inside the final furlong and beat Curraheen Princess by a length and a quarter.
Woods later said "I'm based with Keith Watson and go in a couple of days a week with Eddie (Lynam). He has given me a good bit so it is good to get a winner for him.”
Woods' previous three winners were for Watson and she added "going on his form, he loves it here and while Eddie thought he might take the run, he did it very easily in the end. He was very good.
"Eddie has a good few runners in Dundalk and the Watsons also have some, so hopefully I will be busy up there this winter."
