5/4 favourite Presenting Dylan (from 5/2 in the morning) was a warm order in the betting all day ahead of the Oran Handicap Hurdle and, after hitting the front two out, he kept on well to readily defeat Ashton Court (11/2) and Heliers Bay (16/1) by five lengths and three quarters of a length.
Owned by Philip Reynolds, the 5-year-old was having a first start for Gordon Elliott having been unplaced in seven starts for previous handler Pat Kelly, a fourth place finish in a Limerick maiden hurdle being the best of those efforts.
The half-brother to three winners is entered at Gowran on Friday in a 2m4f handicap hurdle.
Winning rider Jack Kennedy said: "He seems a grand horse and the bit of nice ground brought out a bit of improvement in him.
“It probably wasn’t a great race but there should be a bit of fun to be had with him.”
