The Ado McGuinness trained Beau Warrior under Rory Cleary, completed a remarkable back-end hat-trick of nursery wins at Dundalk when adding the Christmas Party Packages Nursery to her two previous wins at the Co Louth venue in November.
The daughter of Declaration Of War had been unplaced in three maiden starts before scoring on handicap debut on November 7 from a rating of 55 and today better her 72 rating when edging out Colfer Me by a short-head.
Afterwards McGuinness said “it’s her first time over seven (furlongs) but the headwind nearly stopped her. It’s a big factor there tonight but she’s very gutsy and all heart.
“We’re delighted to win three on the bounce and she’s going to go on holiday now for two or three months. The boys have been with me a long time and are very lucky.”
