Walsh doubles-up on Kusadasi
Ruby Walsh made his visit to Cork worthwhile when completing a double on Kusadasi in the Navigation Road Novice Handicap Hurdle. Top jockey at Cheltenham last week, Walsh had earlier won on Tony Martin's Siberian Tiger
Making all here in this two and a half miler, the first-time blinkered son of Beneficial was ridden clear up the straight and crossed the line a massive thirty lengths to the good from Una Duce
Successful trainer Eamonn 'Dusty' Sheehy said: "I'd supposed they worked (gesturing to the pair of blinkers in his hand). I rode him on Thursday myself and I felt he was keeping a little bit to himself.
"I stuck a pair of blinkers on him on Friday morning and he worked and schooled super. We'll see what the handicapper says, if he kills him we'll go for a novice hurdle or a beginners chase."
