Vic Venturi has booked his place in next month's Becher Chase at Aintree following a winning reappearance in the Wilderness Chase at Clonmel today.
Ridden by Paddy Flood, the son of Old Vic, made all to secure a six lengths win over Rathmore Castle
Afterwards Hughes reported “all our horses generally need one run to get back to peak fitness and I thought Vic Venturi may blow up today. However, he did it well and will go for the Becher Chase next.”
