Trainer Mark McNiff is enjoying his journeys to Downpatrick as he saddled his 10th winner at the track since 2011 in the extended two and a quarter mile handicap hurdle.
The Sligo-based handler saw Urban Dusk (8/1) come with a rattle after the last to take the spoils by three parts of a length.
She got her head in front in the final 150 yards and kept on best to beat You Can't Catch Me (8/1). Ullswater one of the 6/1 co favourites, took third a further three lengths away.
Mark McNiff said: "I only got her this season and she had four runs for me before today. My instructions got her beaten the last day as needs to be held up. She's in at Sedgefield on Tuesday and might go there.
"He's (Derek Fox) as good a rider in the country and the best claimer though I would be biased as he's a nephew of mine."
The winner is owned by the Sligo Racing Club which has around 20 members.
