Tsar Paul lands a gamble
James Nash landed a gamble after his charge Tsar Paul who was 12/1 this morning with Boylesports and returned a 4/1 took the concluding race at Dundalk this afternoon.
It was a treble on the day for Pat Smullen who took the riding honours aboard the son of Xaar.
A delighted Nash said afterwards: "It was very obvious he just didn't stay the last day. He had a little wind operation during the Winter."
"He has been working with our good horse Luisant and after he ran well we knew this lad definitely had his chance."
Smullens earlier winners came aboard the Eddie Lynam trained Sole Power and the Dermot Weld trained Endless Expanse
