Oscar Time's brother Fit To Be Tied looked a nice youngster when scoring at the fourth time of asking in the Buy Tickets Online For The 6th April Spin Southwest Student Raceday Rated Novice Hurdle at Limerick.
The favourite, Logical Song travelled well to deliver his challenge, but he couldn't cope with the finishing effort of the Jody McGarvey-ridden Fit To Be Tied, and a length and a half separated them at the line.
"He was entitled to do that and will go for something similar next. He's going to be a nice horse next season when we send him over fences," said winning trainer Niall 'Boots' Madden on the J P McManus-owned Fit To Be Tied.
Daniel John Howard, trainer of Fluspar reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge burst blood vessels.
