Thurles target for Caim
Philip Fenton's Caim Hill has been pencilled in for an outing in a Grade Two contest at Thurles next week.
After returning from a serious bout of colic in the autumn, Caim Hill dead-heated with On The Way Out at Clonmel at the start of this month and is now unbeaten in his last five starts.
"He came out of his last race grand and the next step will be to go for the Michael Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle at Thurles next Thursday," said County Tipperary-based Fenton.
"That race will tell us an awful lot about where we go next.
"He has entries in the Ballymore and the three-miler (Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle) but he'd only be 50-50 at this stage to go to Cheltenham as we have Punchestown to think about too."
