Willie Mullins doubled up in the bumper at Fairyhouse today when Mystic Theatre ran out a cosy winner on her ‘track’ debut.
The King’s Theatre filly, who won twice in point-to-points, travelled well to lead turning for home under Patrick Mullins.
The 2/5 shot asserted inside the final furlong and went on to record a three-length success over Gracemount
“She’s a nice King’s Theatre filly and a nice prospect,” said Mullins.
“She had good form in point-to-points and is shown what she has shown us at home.
“We’ll follow the mares bumpers route I’d imagine.
“Even though she’s a point-to-pointer with plenty of stamina Patrick was happy enough that she’d have plenty of speed and wasn’t worried about the pace.”
Mullins has also landed the three-mile maiden hurdle on the card with Tin Soldier
