Equity Swap went into the notebook as a certain future winner when third as a well-backed handicap debutant at Dundalk 11 days ago and the Strategic Prince colt delivered on that promise to complete a double for Tommy Stack and Wayne Lordan in the Family Day Handicap at Navan.
Stack and Lordan, earlier on the scoresheet courtesy of Atacx saw Equity Swap hit the front a furlong out on his way to defeating the very-easy-to-back Dragon Khan (9s this morning out to 33s) by three and a half lengths.
A gamble on Crouching Harry (25s into 8s) came unstuck and he finished eighteenth whilst other market-movers to disappoint were Shabra Emperor and Go On Murt
Fozzy Stack said: "He was a bit unlucky at Dundalk the last day when he got left.
"We were worried about the ground today and he could make a nice three-year-old hurdler for somebody." (AM & EM)
