Gavin Cromwell notched a sixth success in four days today, as the Champion Hurdle winning trainer's Sweet Will (9/4f) landed Fairyhouse's concluding Baroneracing Winter Festival Handicap Hurdle under jockey Kieran Buckley.
The Inbounds Syndicate-owned five year old had previously won over hurdles and fences at Cork and Kilbeggan respectively, earlier in 2022 and today notched a third career win, beating Dr Val by three and a quarter lengths.
Cromwell, with two wins on Saturday and an across-the-card Sunday treble, said “that was grand, he goes on that ground. It probably wasn't a great race but it's nice to get his head in front again.
“He stays going well. Hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on him and he can remain competitive.”
