The Aidan O'Brien trained Never Ending Story justified market confidence in the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes.
Third on debut at the Curragh in May, the Dubawi bay got off the mark at the Co Kildare venue on her next start and was expected to follow-up this evening, going off the 5/6 favourite.
After edging right leaving the stalls, she was soon settled in fourth by Ryan Moore, taking closer order on the outer from early in the straight.
She came with her challenge over a furlong from home and improved to the front inside the final 150 yards, going on to score by half-a-length. Zoinnocent (6/1) finished strongly to take second under Shane Crosse for Joseph O'Brien, while La Dolce Vita (33/1) made it an O'Brien 1,2,3, with this one just a head away in third with Gavin Ryan aboard for Donnacha O'Brien.
"We are delighted with her. She was a little bit keen early but Ryan did well and nursed her after that," Aidan O'Brien said.
"She will probably go for the Debutante (Group 2 Curragh, August 20th). She has plenty of class the way she travels."
Never Ending Story is now a 16/1 chance (from 25s) with Paddy Power for the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket next year.
