Silken Ladder followed up her recent Killarney win when easily landing the Golf At Gowran Park Handicap at Gowran Park.
Gary Carroll kept it simple on the Joseph Murphy trained filly, tracking the early leader Frankelstein before taking it up just after the turn in.
Once asked for an effort, the daughter of No Nay Never quickened up in impressive fashion to go right away from her rivals.
Indeed, such was her superiority that Carroll could afford to ease her down in the closing stages.
Joe Murphy, “She’s a nice filly and is progressing.
“She wouldn’t want it any faster than that and if the ground dries out over the summer we might wait until the autumn.”
