Davy Russell hopes to take up his rides at Navan after a foot injury caused him to be stood down at Gowran yesterday.
The jumps jockey took a tumble from Mortal when just headed by Carter McKay at the final flight of a two-mile maiden hurdle.
Though he then steered Roaring Bull into third place behind Sharjah in the following race, Russell had to give up his last three mounts.
"He's a bit sore but he hopes to ride in Navan," said Irish Turf Club senior medical officer Dr Adrian McGoldrick.
Russell's five rides at the County Meath track include Mala Beach for Gordon Elliott in the €100,00 Troytown Handicap Chase.
