Trainer John Joe Walsh enjoyed a terrific 2015/16 jumps season with 23 winners and wasted little time securing his first this term, as The Mulcare Rover under Brian O'Connell, landed the Coral.ie For All GAA Championship Betting Handicap Hurdle at Limerick today.
Afterwards Walsh stated “he never settled in the bunch the last day so we decided to give him daylight today at the back of the field and it worked.
“He stays and jumps well and goes on good ground. He wasn't busy during the winter and will be kept on the go now.”
