Rathlin rattles off back to back Fairyhouse wins

Rathlin with a course and distance success under his belt from 24 days ago, justified odds of 4/9 with the minimum of fuss under Davy Russell in the Follow Us On Facebook Novice Chase at Fairyhouse.
The victorious Kayf Tara gelding seemed to enjoy himself rolling along up front and barring something untoward happening he was going to win this extended two mile five furlong contest from some way out.
In fairness to the mare Banjaxed Girl she ensured it was no cakewalk for the 'hotpot' but two and three parts of a length separated them at the line.
Mouse Morris handles Rathlin for Gigginstown House Stud and he said: "He was hanging a bit but that was probably because of the ground.
"He jumped well and he was giving 13Ibs to the second so that wasn't bad. He'll get three miles." (GC & EM)
