Wexford Opera and Kevin Manning beat them all off

Supported from around 12/1 when markets began on the Go Racing In Kildare 2016 Membership Handicap, 11/2 shot Wexford Opera got the job done under Kevin Manning in race two at the Curragh.
Quickly back into action after finishing fourth at Limerick on Saturday, Wexford Opera was never far away here. Downforce didn't get the run of the race, and finished well, but he was still a length and a half off Wexford Opera at the line.
"It proves that god loves a trier. He's off to the sales now - that was his last run for us," said Jim Bolger of his successful home-bred.
"He's a good prospect for the sand or for hurdles. He goes on all ground. He could be one for the East as well."
