Old fav Artiste Bay does it again at Kilbeggan
Yard pet Artiste Bay gained his second win around Kilbeggan when landing the Sean Hughes Memorial Handicap Chase under Eddie O'Connell.
The blinkered nine-year-old came through strongly on the run-in to get up and deny Pistol Jack by three lengths.
Winning trainer Eoin Griffin said of his wife Martina's French-bred: "That's been a long time coming. He's a small horse and a favourite in the yard – he runs his heart out every day.
"He struggles a bit with big weights and we'll see where we'll go next – he wants three miles plus anyway."
