Division two of the Pallaskenry (Mares) Maiden Hurdle at Limerick was in many ways a repeat of division one half-an-hour earlier as Schone Aussicht also made all to please odds-on punters. The Getaway Star forced the pace to justify odds of 1/6 in division one and while Schone Aussicht was nowhere near as short at 8/13, she was also well-supported from evens.

The Henry de Bromhead-trained mare, a five-time winner on the Flat, also made all and built up a sizeable lead of about eight lengths approaching the straight.

That advantage was halved after two out but Rachael Blackmore’s mount kept on well on the run-in to beat Ailie Rose by five and a half lengths. Hanoi Jane could find no extra in the closing stages a further half a length back in third.

Blackmore said, "She was third behind Roseys Hollow in Fairyhouse so had good form and had a break since her last run.

"She appreciated the nicer ground and it is a new syndicate in the yard so it is fantastic for them. It was a very good performance and hopefully they'll have plenty of fun with her."
