O'Brien team land feature
Look At Me benefitted from a fine front-running ride by Joseph O'Brien to land the featured www.corkracecourse.ie Navigation Stakes.
The daughter of Danehill Dancer, without a win since scoring on her debut at Fairyhouse last year, broke smartly from stalls in this extended mile Listed event and proceeded to make all.
The Ballydoyle-trained filly, an easy-to-back 4/1 chance, put the race to bed when asserting over a furlong out, and had little difficulty in holding the staying on Defining Year (9/1) by a length and a half.
Stunning Year could find no extra from the furlong pole, and the 9/4 favourite finished another two and a quarter lengths back in third.
Joseph O'Brien said, “We decided to change tactics and she jumped well and travelled. She handled the ease in the ground (officially soft), and hopefully she will continue to progress.”
