The John Murphy trained Scatterling made it third time lucky at Dundalk this evening, arriving late to eventually beat 4/11 favourite Twin Falls in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Median Auction Fillies Maiden.
Ridden by Colin Keane, the daughter of Lord Shanakill quickened well inside the final furlong for her length and a quarter success.
Scatterling had finished third at huge odds of 150/1 in a six runner maiden at the same venue recently and following today's win, Keane stated "she was very green the first day but improved a good bit next time out, and I thought if she improved again she'd have a chance."
