Things certainly didn't go right for trainer Arthur Moore and Champion Owner J.P. McManus in yesterday's Grand National but the pair combined to win the McManus sponsored Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Chase at Tramore today with Fever Pitch
Ridden by Paddy Mangan, the son of Dushyantor touched down in front at the second last fence before staying on well from the last to comfortably beat Fairwood Massini
Afterwards Moore, who also had a winner at the venue yesterday, said “the good ground and the extra trip helped today. We'll keep him on the go for the summer as there's a good programme of races for him. That was Paddy's first ride for me.”
Regarding Organisedconfusion, Moore said “he was taking to the fences really well and Nina just got sandwiched on him at the Canal Turn. He is grand today and will be aimed at the race again next year.”
