Just touched off at Tramore on her previous start, the 4/5 favourite Might Meggsie made no mistake in the Sean Graham Bookmaker Mares Maiden Hurdle.
The daughter of Arakan raced in second until being allowed to stride on by Paul Townend approaching the third-last flight of hurdles.
She was soon clear and wasn’t threatened thereafter, crossing the line five lenghts in front of the staying-on Shanacoole Dasy
The Jessica Harrington-trained winner, who had finished runner-up in her first two bumpers, was getting off the mark on her fifth start over hudles.
"It was a good performance," said Townend.
"Her run in Tramore was her first one in a while and she probably came on from the run and enjoyed the better ground.
"She is settling much better this year than last year; she was very keen last year. I'd say she is just growing up and learning the game.
"She has done that very well and her runs have been improving, so who knows how far she can keep improving? Hopefully they will have a bit of fun with her anyway."
