Mick claims eventful chase
Mick The Man opened his account over fences when winning an incident packed beginners chase at Down Royal.
Paul Townend 's mount had looked held in third going to the second last as Corskeagh Royale headed long-time leader Quartetto
Corskeagh Royale crashed out at that fence, however, leaving Quartetto back in front.
His lead was short-lived as Mick The Man stayed on to take it up before the last and Colm Murphy's charge was left clear when his rival departed at the last, going on to score by 17-lengths.
"I'm not sure where we will go. I'll look for a little winners of one or a handicap," said Murphy.
"We'll play it by ear with him and not aim for anything too big."
Murphy also had new of Big Zeb, who was so impressive at Punchestown on Sunday:-
"He came out of it really well and I'm delighted with him."
