Emmet McNamara completed a quick double when getting up in the closing stages to land the Bar One Racing Telebetting Handicap aboard the Ger Lyons trained Palazone and deny Calm Bay under Shane Foley by a head.

Winning trainer Lyons said afterwards, “I’m delighted for Emmet the horses have been running well and things seemed to be going Keagan’s way lately so it was nice to see Emmet winning. I don’t think the horse handled the track but Emmet gave him a great ride and he did well to win. I’m looking forward to this horse next year.”
