There is a valuable undercard to the Vintage Crop Stakes at Navan, with the five-furlong navanracecourse.ie Handicap the second biggest pot on offer at the County Meath venue.
The lightly raced Masai interestingly drops back to the minimum trip after winning his maiden at Dundalk over six furlongs last year.
He put in a pleasing performance on his seasonal debut at Naas last month and is sure to be well-fancied.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt faces stiff opposition in the shape of Greek Canyon who won four times last year, while the consistent Seanie Tylery Wonder for Willie McCreery and Great Minds for Tommy Stack will have their supporters.
Twelve go to post for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap, with runaway Gowran maiden winner Sereza the standout name.
The Dermot Weld-trained daughter of Pivotal impressed at the Kilkenny venue on her last outing and is likely to go off favourite on her handicap debut. Odisseia ran a nice race on her first start of the season at the Curragh recently, and she has solid claims, while handicap debutants Dance With Another and Adelana also warrant respect.
The other handicap on the card looks an ultra-competitive affair, with Pixie Spirit Indigo Iris, Chillie Billie Calling You and Like Magic all towards the head of the market for the five-furlong contest.
There are four maidens on the programme, and Weld will be strongly fancied to take the first two, with Sailors Swan in the opener and Araner in the third.
O'Brien looks the man to side with in the remaining two, as he saddles John Constable in the sixth, while Table Rock who has finished second on his first two outings, is his representative in the last.
