The opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden went to Aidan O'Brien's Air Chief Marshal who easily justified 2/5 favouritism under Seamie Heffernan.
The son of Danehill Dancer, previously second at Leopardstown last month, tracked the leaders moved through to lead early in the straight, before eventually recording an eight lengths win over Rigid Rock
Most of Team Ballydoyle were represented at Newmarket but Heffernan did briefly say "I hope the rest of the horses improve as much for a run as this fellow did!"
