Loughnane back in the winner's enclosure
The Ladies Come Racing For Free Next Sunday Handicap caused a surprise when 20/1 shot Speed Dream came home in front under Willie Supple.
Mark Loughnane’s charge stayed on well to get up and lead inside the final furlong for length success over 11/4 favourite Queenie Keen
It was a welcome return to winner’s enclosure for the trainer who recorded his last winner in April.
Winning trainer Loughnane said afterwards: “We’ve been waiting awhile for a winner, the horses were all wrong but they seem to be coming back to form now.”
“This horse is a good horse and was well up in the ratings at one stage but he’s had a lot of problems.”
