Look Busy records 12th win
Multiple British winner Look Busy recorded her second Irish win, and her first for her new trainer Patrick Prendergast, when taking the corkracecourse.ie Race at Cork today.
The daughter of Danetime was an 11 times winner prior to joining Prendergast last November and, having been backed from 28/1 into 20/1, recorded a two lengths win over Bay Knight today.
Look Busy was previously trained by Alan Berry in England and was bought by her current owner Dermot Farrington bought for £48,000 at Tattersalls (Newmarket) last November, having numbered the Group 3 Flying Five Stakes at The Curragh in 2008 among her wins.
Afterwards today’s win, Prendergast stated “Look Busy has so much talent but she was getting a bit tired of things. I’d like to thank trainer Christy Roche for the use of her swimming pool and we even popped her over polls too! She’ll go for the Listed Achilles Stakes at Haydock in a few weeks time.”
