Let Yourself Progresses
The betting suggested the Pricewaterhousecoopers Steeplechase would boil down to a match (Archie Boy a non-runner owing to the ground) between English-raider, Cornas and Let Yourself Go (3/1 into 15/8) and when the former crashed out five out it was left to Let Yourself Go to score in good style by four and a half lengths.
Good jumps up the straight sealed the issue for Shane Hassett's front-running mount as he stayed on strongly to beat Top Of The Rock in the Grade 3 contest.
Winning trainer Adrian Maguire has never hidden his admiration for the son of Zaffaran (also responsible for the Munster National hero, Treacle and he said: "He done it very well, he jumped very well touch wood. He has all the gears and we'll let the dust settle now and make a plan after that.
"You'd be thinking he'd get further if we want him to get further. He is a winner of a point-to-point but he just has a lot of class. If he stays healthy then God knows.
"I'd like to have seen the English horse (Cornas) stand up. We still don't know how good he is, it is as simple as that. We'll let him tell us that."
